Training

Practice Structure

1. Swimming and conditioning

Practice starts off with optional swimming and conditioning. We typically swim around 1,ooo yards split up into sets of 25, 50, or 100-yard intervals. We also do treading drills like jumps, lunges, and wrestling to improve leg strength.

2. Passing, shooting, and drills

We break up into small groups and pass the ball to warm up before moving into shooting drills.

3. Scrimmaging

We split up into 2 or 3 teams and run a controlled scrimmage with a referee, goalies, and line markers.
